Sherree Philips

Sherree Philips is a highly sought-after Australian Production Designer based in London. She works internationally across film, television & high-end commercials.

Sherree designed Shannon Murphy’s critically acclaimed feature film Babyteeth; produced by Alex White & Jan Chapman. It had its World Premiere at the Venice Film Festival where it was selected for Official Competition & nominated for the Golden Lion. Sherree was awarded a Best Production Design nomination at the the 2020 AACTA’s (Australian Academy Awards) and the film went onto win 9 AACTA’s in total, including Best Director, Best Screenplay & Best Film. Further abroad it was nominated at the BFI London Film Festival for the First Feature Competition & Best Direction the BAFTA’s film awards in 2020.

Other feature credits include a New Zealand thriller Went Up the Hill (2024); Directed by Samuel Van Grisven & produced by Pop Films & Causeway Films. Starring Vicky Krieps & Dacre Montgomery to be released in 2025. Standing Up for Sunny (2019) directed by Steve Fidler; produced by See Pictures it won best Indie Film at the AACTAs awards in 2020.

In television, Production Design credits include Amazon’s US flagship drama series The Wilds (2022), created by Sarah Streicher & produced by Amy Harris & Lena Cordina for ABC & Amazon Studios. Most recently, Dope Girls a new 6 part series set in the underground nightclub scene in a post war London in 1918. Produced by Bad Wolf Jane Tranter & Kate Crowther for the BBC & Sony to be released in 2025.

Sherree graduate from he renowned Australian Film & Radio School (AFTRS) with a Graduate Diploma of Production Design in 2012. In her graduating year she was nominated as student designer awards for her work on student short film Corinna (2012) by the APDG.

Sherree is represented by CAA in the US, Lux Artists in the UK & Europe, & Cameron’s Management for Australasia. She is the recipient of a Global Talent Visa, granting her freedom to live & work in the United Kingdom.
